Every single child deserves the very best start possible to their educational journey, at St Teresa’s we aim to provide this for all of our children. We have a large EYFS, our provision included a 79 place Nursery and a 45 place Reception. Both classrooms are fully equipped to support children’s individual ideas and interests. We offer a free flow system between the classroom and our outdoor areas. Our EYFS team are very experienced and work closely together, ensuring the very best for our children. We are proud to be an Early Excellence Partner School and the lead EY school for the Archimedes NE Maths Hub. IT is a privilege to be able to work with other settings to ensure that all children can experience the best start to their journey through education.
Nursery is open to all children from the age of three. The size of our setting means that we can offer 30 hours free early years education to those eligible and be flexible with part time requests. We also offer wrap around care from 8am – 5:30pm. Our nursery team are very experienced and ensure that all of our children are happy and settled within our setting. Each child is seen as a unique individual. During their time with us the children make impressive progress from their starting points. Our nursery is an increasingly popular choice for local families.

Our bright and purposeful reception unit is home to our 45 children. Transition into reception is very important and we ensure that children who join us from other nursery settings are made to feel very much part of St Teresa’s family as quickly as possible. Reception is very well resourced an has a large outdoor area.
