Class 6 had an exciting visit from Esh Construction, learning all about the different jobs available in the construction industry. Pupils discovered roles such as architect, bricklayer, quantity surveyor, and site supervisor, gaining insight into the skills needed for each profession.
As part of the session, the children got hands-on experience by building a wall, checking its quality with a spirit level, and measuring using a trundle wheel. They also learned the importance of safety by wearing the correct PPE clothing throughout the activity.
This practical workshop was a fantastic way to connect classroom learning with real-world careers, inspiring our pupils to think about future opportunities in STEM and construction.
