Thank you to all the parents who joined us this morning for our Year 5 World Book Day craft and activity session. It was wonderful to see families working together, getting creative, and sharing a love of reading. The children had a fantastic time, and your support helped make the session extra special!

Report from our Media Correspondents Thomas and Daniele

World Book Day On Thursday 5th March, St Teresas Catholic Primary School celebrated World Book Day. Key Stage 2 classes spent time in the hall with different interesting and fascinating activities. One table was to design a bookmark and there were two options of how to do one - colour it in or the scratch out details. A popular activity was to draw and decorate a rock based on our favourite book. On a completely different table we could create a book journal cut it out, stick it together and write the names of the books we have read. We had a very fun day celebrating books!

Scholastic Book Fair

Our Scholastic Book Fair is currently in school and will remain open until Monday 9th March. It’s a perfect opportunity to explore new books, discover favourite authors, and help raise rewards for our school library.

We hope you can pop in and take a look!
