This week, our school community has been joyfully celebrating Little Way Week as we prepare for St Teresa's Feast Day and reflect on the inspiring life and message of St Thérèse of Lisieux, our school patron saint.

Last Friday, we were delighted to welcome Maria from Mission Together, the children's branch of Missio, the Pope's charity. Maria spoke to the children about St Thérèse and her teaching of the 'Little Way', reminding us that we do not need to do extraordinary things to make a difference. Instead, we can show God's love through small acts of kindness, service, prayer and love in our everyday lives.

Throughout the week, pupils have been exploring a different theme each day, inspired by the values of the Little Way:

  • Monday – Kindness
  • Tuesday – Caring
  • Wednesday – Honesty
  • Thursday – Hope
  • Friday – Faith

As part of our celebrations, we will gather for our School Mass on Thursday at 9:30am, giving thanks for the example of St Teresa and celebrating our faith together as a school family.

On Friday, pupils are invited to take part in a non-uniform day to raise money for Mission Together, supporting children and communities around the world.

We have also entered the Diocesan portrait competition, where pupils have been creating artwork inspired by St Teresa. We look forward to sharing their wonderful entries with you soon.

Thank you to all of our families for your continued support as we celebrate St Teresa's Feast Day and embrace the values of the Little Way. Together, we can make a big difference through small acts of love and kindness every day.
